Terms of service
Short and plain: what you can expect from QrKit and what we expect from you.
The service
QrKit provides free QR code tools that run in your browser. We may change, add or remove tools at any time.
Your content
Whatever you encode or scan stays on your device; we never receive it. You are responsible for the content you put in a code and for having the right to share it.
Acceptable use
Do not use QrKit to create codes that lead to malware, phishing, fraud or content that is illegal where you or your audience live. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or its advertising.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind. Test a code with a real scanner before printing it in quantity; scan results depend on the image you provide.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, QrKit is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the site, including codes that do not scan, links that change or content you open after a scan.
Advertising & third parties
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense, which operate under Google's own terms and privacy policy. Links opened after a scan lead to third-party sites we do not control.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always the one published on this page.
